Safe for all skin types. We typically recommend 6+ sessions of laser hair removal for best results. Maintenance sessions may also be required.

The success of laser hair removal treatments depends largely on a patient’s skin and hair type, as well as the skills and treatment insight of the practitioner. Most patients can expect a significant reduction in unwanted hair, and any future hair growth will usually be thinner and lighter, and thus much less pronounced than before. Depending on the size of the treatment area, between three to five sessions, six to eight weeks apart will lead to a significant aesthetic and clinical result.

Fotona Laser Hair Removal Treatment Notes:

Please arrive with the treatment area shaven, as well as no jewellery or self tanner on the area. This treatment is not suitable if you are taking photosensitive medications such as Isotretinoin, Roaccutane, or Doxycycline. After treatment please avoid direct sun exposure on the treatment area for a least 1-2 weeks and avoid water contact for at least 6 hours following treatment. We would also advise to avoid saunas, swimming pools and spas for 48 hours post treatment.
